Chris (Kanuts)sp?  Concerned about the building berm being high enough, wants to make sure the building will not be taller than the berm because the center of property curves 15’. Also, concerned about glare from lights, even if they point down they should be collared so they don’t glare.

Water cooling towers create noise. If they are 15’ tall, how will the noise be contained? Keep away from houses so noise is contained. Water pollution into rivers is a concern. Saline is already trying to send contaminated water into the river.

Sharon Lenhart- Concerned about the increased cost of water. What is going to protect homes from costs? Noise concerns. How is the noise going to be contained? Mufflers, berm, trees to surround the plant? What is the strategy for bringing electricity to the plant? Battery storage, solar, power? What kind of guarantees are in place so industry does not take over the Dundee area? What is in the plan to protect farmland?

Carol Ruem- Wants to protect our community from harm. Our watershed is already strained, let’s not make it worse. We rely on our watershed. Noise and light pollution will be constant and cause sleep disruption. Respiratory health will be affected. She wants to continue the moratorium until studies are done, not by industry. She wants clear limits on light, noise and water pollution. We get one chance to get this right  to keep our quality of life. Data centers may only have a 5 year life span and they will walk away leaving us with a mess. They need to pay to take down. Company lies.

Jason Dye- From Libertarian Party. Violation of 1st amendment and 14th amendment. Violates 5th amendment eminent domain. NDA’s company is trying to get boards to sign. Clear violations of life, liberty and property.

Jerry Smith- Wants to keep Macon Creek continuously monitored. Monitor water discharge from the plant. Milan power plant running pipeline to power up plant. How are they going to power the Data Center? Macon Creek is already polluted, don’t make it worse.

180 megawatt storage facility 20 +acres near Arbor Chase subdivision EDF Co. in charge they say it is not related to the Data Center.

The Data Center can buy 750 acres to expand.

P233 State Law we need to have so much green energy. Batter Storage in Village part of this law. They are moving forward with the Battery Storage facility.

Article 6 Paragraph 2 Supremacy Law-must line up with the Constitution.

Micaela- Protect Macon Creek may be possible Native artifacts.

Tanya- Why is a hyperscale data center considered for industrial zoning? They do not produce anything. She has done intensive research and Cloverleaf will not answer any questions.

Noise ordinance should be continuously monitored and they need to pay for an independent company to monitor.

When they use backup generators, will they all be used at the same time? How many will be used? What will the noise level be?

Generators will only be used to run plant in an emergency, but they do need to run checks often.

We can set an air quality standard.

General Comments

The Data Center will not employ many employees.

How will this affect property values?

Cloverleaf is not going to hire anyone from Dundee, 0 jobs.

No benefit to our community.

Need a separate monitoring system.

Extend the moratorium as long as we can.

Don’t leave us with an abandoned Plant.

Escrow account with bonds for roads and abandonment .
